Whole-Home Surge Protector Installation in Phoenix & Surrounding Area
Your Surge Protector Specialists in the Phoenix Valley
The Phoenix Valley is famous for its lightning. But as beautiful as that lightning is from afar, it can easily fry an electrical panel and the appliances and electrical equipment connected to it if it hits your property just right. Panel replacements that occur from monsoon storms happen more than you might think! It’s why we highly recommend purchasing a whole-home surge protector. And when it comes to the electrical contractor who installs it, Patrick Riley | Isley’s will give you an exceptional quality installation at a fair price, every time.
We also Offer:

Factors that affect the cost of your whole-home surge protector installation
- Type of surge protector: You may have heard of surge protectors labeled as type 1, type 2, and type 3. The first two pertain to whole-home surge protectors. Type 1 is often the best option for most homes, although it does come with added costs. In addition, a surge protector’s VPR (Voltage Protective Rating) increases cost as its rating goes up, as does its MCOV (Maximum Continuous Operating Voltage).
- Adding protection to a subpanel: Homeowners who have installed a second electrical panel, known as a subpanel, may opt to install two surge protectors to keep both panels safe from power surges. If you’re not sure whether your house has a subpanel, the electricians at Patrick Riley | Isley’s will be happy to find out for you.
- Available warranties: Your surge protector will likely have two warranties associated with it: a part warranty and a labor warranty. Labor warranties are covered by the contractor who installed the system. Part warranties are warranties offered by the manufacturer of the surge protector. You may have options to extend each warranty for an added cost.
