Cost to Repair a Furnace in Phoenix
Factors That Affect Your Furnace Repair
- The Type of Repair You Need: The repair cost mainly depends on the furnace's problem. Some furnace repairs require expensive replacement parts and are labor-intensive because of the part's complexity, which increases the overall cost of the repair. For example, replacing a flame sensor is more affordable than replacing faulty ignitors.
- Your Furnace's Warranty Coverage: If you have a valid manufacturer's or labor warranty for your furnace, some or all of the repair cost may be covered by the manufacturer and/or the contractor who installed your furnace. These warranties cover the cost of a defective part or installation/repair service.
- The Contractor You Hire: More experienced contractors charge more for their services and do better repair work than low-priced, inexperienced contractors. You will ultimately save more money in the long run by hiring an experienced contractor who will more effectively fix the problem, leaving you with a well-working furnace that can stand the test of time.
